Dry Ice or Co2 blasting is a cleaning technology that uses dry ice pellets about the size of rice for the blasting medium, similar to abrasive blasting but with many added benefits.
As the pellets strike the surface being cleaned they instantly change back to their original form as a gas. This process is known as sublimation, as the pellets sublimate back into a gas it expands by 800x its size creating a small explosion that lifts contaminates free of the surface and blows it away leaving a clean and dry surface with no additional waste created.
